The next Ruby Tuesday session (4th of November) will be an attempt on Ruby Quiz #65 Splitting the Loot. We plan to try to solve this problem in a variety of languages to compare their various qualities. The first attempt will be in Ruby though.
This problem is quite hard so a heuristic rather than a complete solution is going to be acceptable.
